Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

12 months of Cardiac Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Young adults through geriatrics, sepsis, STEMI, COVID, stroke, neurosurgery, renal failure, respiratory failure, COPD, cancer, DKA Gaymar Hypothermia, Arrow Balloon Pump, Camino Neuro monitoring, CRRT, Impella, EVDs, Lumbar drains.

RNs are required to titrate drips.

Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Sedation, paralytics, pressors, antihypertensives, heparin, insulin

RNs are required to read and interpret strips.

Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1900. Unit schedulers will make schedule.

Weekend Requirements: Every other

Holiday Requirements: As needed

Floating Requirements: Mainly to PCU but can go to all areas in the hospital depending on abilities

Scrub Color/Dress Code: RN: Navy Blue

Candidate may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
