Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and Peds >15 years old, Neuro surgery (initiating neuro interventionalist with thrombectomy program) - not required exp., Respiratory failure, ARDS, MODS, sepsis, stroke, cardiogenic shock (impella, balloon pump - not required exp.), renal failure (CRRT) - not required exp., general surgery, psych/OD, GI bleeds, cancer specific surgeries - esophagectomy, internal chemo administration, CVPs, Alines, Swans, EV-1000, ICP monitoring- all can train real time, Zoll -Thermoguard for hypothermia protocol, Bell Mont rapid transfuser.

RNs required to titrate drips: Yes

Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, antiarrhythmics

RNs need to be able to read and interpret strips.

Shifts & Scheduling: Manager will make schedule based on unit needs.

Weekend Requirements: Every other

Holiday Requirements: Every other or as needed for based on unit needs

Floating Requirements: Will float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
