Floating policy: C/L is utilized where the greatest need is.

Requested Skill Set: Ability to assess patients' mental health status, including recognizing signs of psychiatric disorders, substance use, and behavioral problems. This involves taking thorough patient histories, observing behavior, and using diagnostic tools..

Must have: Crisis Intervention: Providing immediate, short-term support to patients in crisis (e.g., suicidal ideation, aggression). This includes de-escalation techniques and appropriate medication management.

Advanced skills needed: Therapeutic Communication: Building trust and rapport with patients through effective communication skills, active listening, and empathy.

Dress Code: (Required uniform) Or black Nurses wear blue, MHT’s wear green or black
