Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is preferred.

Travel experience is required.

12 months of Psychiatric Unit experience is preferred.

Experience with Epic is required.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

Additional Details:

Assignment is for 26-32 weeks

No block schedules for any reason.

Weekend Requirements: yes

Holiday Requirements: Yes based on the needs of the unit

Floating Required Within the Psychiatry department and at times on medical for 1:1 SI patients based on needs

Nurse Patient Ratio by shift: 1:6 on adult and 1:6 on Child

Patient Population (Diagnoses): All psychiatric dx

Work History needs to be from similar size facility as well as Trauma II or higher.

EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required.

CPI or MOAB training is required for this position

Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April.
