36-hour guarantees only (no 48s) – can pick up additional shifts
Must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
Weekend Requirements: 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule. Noc: Fri/Sat. Day: Sat/Sun.
Is there a call or standby requirement: Low Census On Call.
Floating Requirements: NICU/Peds/Womens as well as MedSurg or ICU with appropriate patient assignment-downgraded, or RDU.
Scrub Color: Provided hospital scrubs.
Required Certifications: AWOHNN-Intermediate or Advanced.
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: 28 weeks and above, lot of HTN, 7-10% no prenatal care
Experience: Must be able to do a vaginal exam (if come from teaching facility-they have less skill since medical students/residents do these). Scalp electrodes, Circulate a C-section, Newborn transitions, Assist anesthesiology, IV starts, Blood draws, APGARS assignments-must know, Postpartum hemorrhage control- SIM lab coming-fall 2023, Epidurals, Amnio infusion. Water birth-not a must have, just for knowledge
Preferred: experience with spinning babies.
