Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Department: Peds Rehab- Outpatient SLP- Feeding Specialist

Number of patients treated per day "10 Rooms- 1 Designated Feeding Room

Free Standing Outpatient Clinic

General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS, Licensed with Masters or Doctorate

Common diagnosis / Types of patients "Peds: Birth- 18 years of age;

Typically failure to thrive, feeding disorders, tube feeding pts, G or NG tubes, and dysphagia, developmental delays, CP, autism, down syndrome, hydrocephalus, and more

Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient? Outpatient Clinic

Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties Must have 1 year of Pediatric SLP experience

Must have experience with feeding disorders and dysphagia

Must have outpatient experience

Flexible with scheduling; but typically looking for some later hours to cover after school appointments "

Holiday Requirements No major holidays

Scrub Color/Dress Code Any color scrubs or Business casual attire with closed toed shoes

Department specific orientation 1/2 day of orientation, 2 Weeks with a preceptor
