Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Patient Ratio: ICU - 1/1/-2, PCU - 1/4

Types of patients: Adults and Peds >15 years old, Neuro surgery (initiating neuro interventionalist with thrombectomy program) - not required exp.

Respiratory failure, ARDS, MODS, sepsis, stroke, cardiogenic shock (impella, balloon pump - not required exp.), renal failure (CRRT) - not required exp.

General surgery, psych/OD, GI bleeds, cancer specific surgeries - esophagectomy, internal chemo administration, CVPs, Alines, Swans, EV-1000, ICP monitoring- all can train real time, Zoll -Thermoguard for hypothermia protocol, Bell Mont rapid transfuser

Required to titrate drips

Shift / Schedule: 0630-1830, 1830-0630; manager will make schedule based on unit needs

Weekend: Every Other

Holiday Requirements: Every other or as needed for based on unit needs

Floating Requirements: Will float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

RTO needed upfront. Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
