Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Floating Requirement: Travel staff are required to float to Med-Surg Telemetry if not needed in ICU or Stepdown. Also required to float to the Emergency Department to care for boarded PCU or ICU patients.
Beds: 11 (increasing 11-12 beds following ICU expansion. Later 2023)
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Post op vascular; hemodynamically stable cardiac dysrhythmias, CVA, Sepsis, Renal patients, Stable acute MI, Unstable angina, Post Cardiac Cath with PCTA or with a significant blockage
Experience: Due to need to float to ICU or Stepdown, ICU skill set is required , BiPap, Cpap, Mechanical Ventilation, telemetry, critical drips, post cardiac Cath care required, CRRT and IABP preferred. 1-2 years cricial care experience.
Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Insulin, Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone, Lose dose Dopamine
Deal breakers: Arterial Line experience, Post Fem Pop, Post Endarterectomy, ECAR, TVAR
