Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Scheduled 40hr/week - 8hr shifts M-F

6am for open heart cases

Guaranteed 32hr/week

With call - approx. 3-4x per week

Every other to every third weekend

First to float

Rotating holidays

Certifications Required: CST or NCCT, ND UAP

Common Cases: Open hearts (CABG, Valve, aneuryms) thoracotomies, VATS, Convergent, AAA, carotids, ION robotic cases, ECMO, Impella 5.5, Stryker towers

Experience/Must have skills: Must be willing to cross train into general or if CV volumes are low, 2 years of CVOR experience, open hearts, CABG, Valves, must be able to first scrub.

Staff must be willing to float to the floor as a 1/1 sitter; we do this to supplement hours if we have a low case volume

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
