Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 40

On Call: Required

Must have Endovascular & Cardiac experience.

Education: Must graduate from an accredited school.

Common Cases: CABG/Valve replacement/Carotid Endarterectomy/Fem-pop bypass/Angios/thoracotomy

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have experience scrubbing vascular cases, heart cases and thoracic cases. Does not cover sterile processing.

Shifts & Scheduling: Scheduling is done by CVOR coordinator, usually have the same day off each week or adjusted based on census- 4-10 hour shifts.

Weeknight/Call Requirements: Call is typically 1 day a week, call starts at 5pm-7am.

Weekend/Call Requirements: Call is typically 1 weekend a month.

Holiday/Call Requirements: No holiday call requirements as a traveler but will allow them to pick up if desired.

Call response time: 30 minutes in the OR dressed and ready to go

Floating Requirements: May have to float to Main OR if CVOR census low (this is rare).

Scrubs provided by Methodist Hospital on arrival.

Additional Notes: Extend travelers. Looking for someone that can go with the flow, jump in and be a team player when needed. Someone flexible and willing to pick up call as needed.
