22 months of Long Term Care experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)

Floating is required. Travelers regularly float between various like units, within skill set

Shift: 3x12 or 4x12HR options are available.

Weekend REQ: Yes, EOW

Is on-call REQ? No, not at this time.

Open to accommodating block schedule? No, not at this time.

Locals accepted: No. Please note: Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility will not be eligible for a travel contract

RTO Restrictions: None, prefer to keep it under 7 days.

Special Requirements: Surgical procedures requiring overnight stays, Procedural observation patients, Medical Observation patients, Some medical inpatient, and some long length of stay patients.

RTO: Aya Offer: Anything more than 5 Days will potentially delay your offer while we run approval by the client. To minimize turn around, please limit total RTO requests.

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)

Candidates may be asked to float within hospital or to a sister hospital nearby.

Return Staff Policy: 3 month rule to return as traveler

BLS Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.
