Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Guaranteed hours: 36

4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule;

First to float, could float to sister facility Mercy Gilbert

Tele experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: ED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS/Tele

Must have a strong cardiac tele background. Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters. Nurses will be caring for more tele patients VS medical.

Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule

Holiday Requirement: Rotate in with the perm staff

Floating Requirements: Would float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and CRMC/MGMC Eds as needed

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy

May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts and medication administration. Will not be asked to be primary RN for ED patient assignment.
