Additional Details:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Weekends: Every Other
Orientation is bi-weekly on Tuesdays
All Travelers must have required certifications prior to start.
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every Other/ As Needed.
Call Requirements: As needed.
Float Requirements: May require travel within 25-mile radius of facility.
Patient Ratios: PCU is 1/4, Tele is 1/6. If we must blend sets, we do 1/5 – Experience required.
Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Serves all ages.
Preferred Skillset/Experience: 2+ years Med/Surg experience.
Required Education: Required certification/licensure to work as an RN in Virginia.
