Experience

Travel experience is preferred.

24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required.

3 months of experience with Cerner is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Minnesota license

Additional Details:

NO RTO between 12/15-1/15 will be approved.

Guaranteed Hours: 36 - 48

Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed

Patient Ratios:1/1 in active labor, 2-3 couplets. 1/3-4 Mix of Ages

Scrub Color: Any solid color

On call: As Needed

Weekend Requirement: Every other, up to 3rd weekend

Holiday rotation

Float Requirements: Will be required to float to medical/surgical patients if low census on labor and delivery (once a week/average).

Required Education: BSN or ADN

Desired Specific Skillset for an ideal candidate: OB triage experience, antepartum, intra-partum and post partum care. Newborn cares for level 1 nursery. Skills r/t oxygen or IV therapy for the newborn as well.
