Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Emergency Department experience is required.
3 months of experience with Epic is required.

Required 2 years of ED experience Level 1 trauma center or academic hospital

Preference: ATCN or TNCC preferred

As a designated Level 1 Trauma Center and a regional Pediatric Trauma and Eye Trauma Center for the state of Maryland, the Johns Hopkins Department of Emergency Medicine treats more than 60,000 patients each year. The Johns Hopkins Hospital is also a designated Stroke Center and Primary PCI center for patients experiencing Acute Myocardial Infarction.

Emergency nurses can work in a variety of practice areas within the department —from Triage to Trauma, and from the Rapid Assessment area to the Emergency Acute Care Area— all with support from clinical leaders, nurse educators and a phenomenal interdisciplinary team of staff.
