Requirements

Experience

24 months of Operating Room experience is preferred.

3 months of experience with Epic is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Michigan license

Additional Details:

Can submit with a block scheduling request - The facility will always try and honor, but never guarantee.

13 or 17 Weeks

Guaranteed Hours per Week: 36 hrs (scheduled up to 40)

Shift Requirements: Variable start times, but normally 0700-1730. May have earlier start time of 0630, or potentially later of 0800 or 0900 dependent on cases. Mon-Thurs

Float Requirements: N/A

On Call/Call-Back: 1-2x per week from end of shift to 0700 the next day.

Weekend/Holiday: occasional weekend call – Friday, Saturday and Sun through 0700 on Monday. No holiday shifts, but holiday call is required.

Required Education: ADN RN Degree

Minimum Experience: At least one year of experience in working in a recovery room.

Unit Specific: Surgical services department with 2 OR’s and 1 endo suite. Perform on Average 8 cases per day.

Required skills: OR Circulating RN. Prep and recovery patients that undergo Ortho, GI, GYN, Gen surg, urology and Eye procedures.
