Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

The facility is not accepting new travelers. Submissions must have completed at least one travel contract.

GSA: up to 36 hours per week

No block scheduling

Float Requirements : Must float to MSO and Ortho units, potential to float to ICU to care for non-critical patients

On Call/Call Back Requirements: None

Weekend/Holiday Rotation Requirements: Every other weekend (Friday and Saturday)/holiday

Skills: Telemetry, TR Bands, Blood Products, and the Heparin/Cardiac drips.

Nurse to patient ratio: 1/5-6 (PCU with some acute tele mixed in)

Unit description: Step-down, cardiac, medical, neuro, surgical stepdown nurse
