Patient Types: Total Joints (knees, hips etc), General MS, Appendicitis, colectomies, small bowel, Urology (turp, cysto), CHF, PNA, Sepsis, DM. Patient’s with addictions in addition to other medical issues
Previous Charge RN experience highly preferred – manager is willing to accept travelers without this only if they are willing to be trained as Charge and to work in that capacity as needed during their contract
Required: Chest tubes, traches, drains, wound vacs, IVs, PCAs, Epidurals (rare), IVABX, Heparin gtts; are not required to reading and interpret cardiac strips but it is preferable
Floating: May float to ICU for Med Surg level patients. May float to ED to task/as helping hands
Weekend rotation: Every other; travel pairs are allowed to work the same weekend generally
No call.
Holiday Expectations: 2 of 4 as needed
Scrub Color: Any color, must be professional
