Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Information

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Every other weekend and every other holiday.

At least 1 years experience in cardiac surgery.

Dysrhythmia required (study guide available).

Must be able to recover fresh hearts (will recover, extubate, pull chest tubes).

Patient population is pretty stable will stay on the unit for the entirety of their stay (generally 4-5 days).

RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit (preferred)
