Additional Details:

Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Certs can be MLT or MLS and AMT or ASCP.

What areas do they cover?: Phlebotomy, General Lab (Hematology, Chemistry, Serology and Immunology), Blood Bank (ABO/RH, Antibody and Crossmatch), and Micro (Culture Set Up, ID & Sensitivity).

Phlebotomy only in house until 2100. Lab covers blood draws for the after hours and on some weekends.

Prefer phlebotomy experience. Prefer Micro and Blood Bank (ID & Sensitivity of all types of samples).

Specific Equipment used in each area?: Hematology (Abbott Ruby, Sysmex XN-400), Chem (Siemens, Dimension EXL, Atellica IM & C1900), Coagulation (System 600), Blood Bank (MTS Gel), Microbiology (Microscam AutoScan, Abbott ID Now, BD BacTec FX40).

Weekend Requirements: Yes, typically 1 weekend per month.
Holiday Requirements: Yes, may be asked to.
Call or Standby Call Requirement: None
Scrub Color: Any Color Scrubs, Will provide a Lab coat.
Department Specific Orientation: 2-3 with a preceptor.
