Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

No Block Scheduling requests Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Scheduling requirements: 2 weekends/month, 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day), 2 Winter Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day).

Floating policy: C/L employees float as needed, typically to other ICU’s but can include other floors.

Must have: Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience.

Advanced skills needed: Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required, preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT.

Procedures performed on unit: Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS. Perform central line insertion, swan insertion, intubations, etc. on unit.

Scrubs – black, red, or galaxy blue, scrub jackets/vests only.
