Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required from last 3 years.

Experience with Meditech is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wyoming license or compact license

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

36 guaranteed hours

Day/night rotating

All ages of patients, 11 beds, ICU and Tele patients, Ability to care for ventilated patients, post cardiac cath, IABP, sepsis, COPD, post op surgical, trauma, limited neuro, DKA pts

Tele experience, ability to read EKG, care for patients as stated in #1 also occasional peds patients such as RSV, DKA

Required: PALS or ENPC (they will not be the primary for a peds patient, just need to have PALS or ENPC in case there is an emergency. Will assist at times with peds, but not take a peds patient.)

Dress Code: Navy scrubs

Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program: 3 shifts of orientation with ICU RN on the floor. No classroom orientation.
