Guaranteed Hours 32

Shift: Monday - Friday, start at 6a for Open Hearts Prep (notified day before), weeknight call 3-4 times per week 1515-0645, weekend call every other to every third weekend, Fri 1515 - Mon 0645, rotating holidays

What is call response time? 15 minutes, 8 hour reprieve shifts for post call, sleep room available - housing should also be available nearby to make call

Suites: 2 CVOR suites

Common Cases: Open hearts (CABG, Valve, aneuryms) thoracotomies, VATS, Convergent, AAA, carotids, ION robotic cases, ECMO, Impella 5.5, Stryker towers

Experience/Must have skills: MUST BE WILLING to cross train into general OR if CV volumes are low, open hearts, CABG, Valves, MUST be able to first scrub. Staff must be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter; we do this to supplement hours if we have a low case volume

Certifications Required: CST or NCCT, ND UAP

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
