BJC policy: Every other weekend required.
RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

Start date: ASAP (NOTE: Privileging process takes 2-3 months)
Shift: This role will work 10 and/or 12 hour shifts depending on department need with regular call. 4x10s 0645-1715, 3x12s 0645-1915
Weekend REQ: Weekends covered by call shifts
Call: 1-2/week, 1700-0630 weekday; 0630-0630 Sat or Sun
Float requirement: May float to Shiloh, IL campus, rare occurrence
Guaranteed Hours: 36hrs
Skills Required: Acute inpatient OR/Outpatient OR/Surgery Cases/Vascular
Must be a certified RNFA (will NOT accept CSFA, SFA, etc.)
Special Requirements:. Must go through BJC Privileging process to start on the unit.
Skills/Experience required: Acute Inpatient OR/Outpatient OR, Endo/Laparoscopic, General Surgery Cases, Robotics, Trauma/Amputations, Urology, Surgical First Assistant Skills, Aseptic technique, Instrument Processing, Isolations Precautions, Laser Safety, Sterilization/Disinfection.
Department Surgical Specialties include but not limited to Ortho, Urology, Thoracic, General, Vascular, ENT, GYN, Colorectal, and Neuro Spine
Department does heavy Ortho, Urology, Thoracic, General & Vascular volume.

Compliance deadline is 3pm CST on the Wednesday of the week before initial start date.
Holiday Policy: BJC requires travelers to work 2 out of the 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day).
Fit testing: *Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper testing or will be expected to shave. No exceptions
Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.
