Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Guaranteed Hours 40

Weeknight/Call Requirement Depends, typically 1-2 week nights of call- 5pm-7am (2 SCRUB TECHS AND A NURSE)

Weekend/Call Requirement Weekend can be 1 or 2 weekends a month.

Holiday Requirement Need to be flexible to work holidays if needed.

Is there a mandatory call/standby requirement? Yes - perm staff typically take call first unless traveler request call.

What is call response time? 30 min in OR dressed and ready to go

Floating Requirements Main OR or within skillset

Suites: 2 dedicated heart rooms/ 1 Hybrid suite and 1-2 open surgical rooms for various cases

Common Cases Open heart, CABG, Valve replacements, thoracic cases, vascular, open and endo vascular, AAA, IVC filters.

Experience or 'Must have' skills:

• 1-2 years of experience highly preferred and prefer previous travel -Not required if great experience
• Must be well rounded with cardio and vascular.
• Must have open heart and endovascular experience.
• Vascular hybrid preferred.

Scrubbing required - RN's circulating required, scrubbing is a bonus - 1 circulator in vascular and 2 typically in opens.
