Experience

12 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required.

3 months of experience with Cerner is required.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Nurse Only: PCU roles require both a PCU & ICU skills checklist with application.

Charge RN Position

Charge experience required

Guaranteed hours per week: 36

Weekend Requirement: every other weekend

Float Requirement: as needed in skillset, including to the hi-desert CCC if needed

Very fast paced with rapid turnover in admissions and discharges

Age Groups of Patients: Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric

Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: Pancreatitis, COPD, CHF, Pneumonia, choleliathiasis, appendicitis, Altered Mental Status, A-Fib with RVR, Hip Fractures, chest pain, stroke

Any special procedure done on the unit? Teleneurology, Bucks Traction, Small bedside irrigation and debridements of wounds

Common Equipment: Blood glucometer, Bucks Traction, Lift equipment

Titrate Vasoactive Drips: Amarodione, Cardizem
