Experience

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.

No block scheduling.

Going guarantee 36 hours / week.

Patient population is primarily the elderly but can be as young as 18. Common diagnoses include post op ortho, general surgery, ETOH, CHF and pneumonia.

Every other weekend.

Rotating holidays.

Required Experience:

Post-surgical drains
Central line care/maintenance
Foley insertion
G tubes/J tubes/NG tubes/PEG tubes
IV medication administration/IV push
Wound care
O2 therapy

Telemetry experience, preferred.
