Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

36 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is required.

Experience with Epic is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

CNOR (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Shift: 6a - 7p; days rotating to nights as needed, 39 hours per week

Must have 3 to 5 years recent SCRUB and CIRCULATING nurse experience in complex cardiac, thoracic and vascular cases. These include, but are not limited to, the following: Coronary Artery Bypass- primary and redo's; aortic aneurysms; AVR's & MVR's- primary and redo's; TAVR's; ECMO; VAD's, adult required- pediatrics a plus.

Understand overtime may be necessary.

Weekend and Holiday expectations: Rotates per department need

Float within scope

Call is required: 1-2 shifts per week; 1-2 weekends per 6wk/schedule; about 1 weekend per month
