Additional Details:

-If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only). RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility

Types of Cases EXP REQ: Ortho, Lap, General, and Neuro.

Types of Cases EXP Preferred: Total Joints, Craniotomy, and Brain/Spine preferred

Weekend REQ: Depends

Is on-call REQ? What is the req? Yes, 2 weekends per month

Special Requirements: Must be open to floating to other campuses

Service line experience desired not required: neuro, thoracic, general, ortho, plastics, robotics, gyn, ent, pediatrics, urology.

Scrub Color: Any Color; Surgical Services/SPT: Provided

RTO: Aya Offer: < 5 Days. Client Offer: > 5 Days. *Anything more than 5 Days will potentially delay your offer while we run approval by the client. To minimize turn around, please limit total RTO requests.

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission: Please notify of BG or Nursys hits at time of submittal; can submit with BG/Nursys hits, but must present to client for written approval.

Return Staff Policy: 3 month rule to return as traveler

ALL travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state. travelers’ refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours

BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.

Modules:

  • Modules are completed pre-start, and annually
  • Time spent on modules is self-reported, completion is recorded in Workramp transcripts

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
