Additional Details:

Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it's within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

Must have surgical stepdown experience at a level 1 trauma center

IMCU/Stepdown experience,

Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips.

Preferred Exp: Tertiary facility experience. Unit sees post-operative patients requiring intermediate care transferred from PACU or SICU and includes cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant patients. 38 beds with an average patient ratio of 1:3, 1:4 or 1:4-5 if MedSurg patients.
