Travel Nurse (LVN / LPN) - Medical Surgical Unit

Additional Details:

A minimum of 12 months acute care experience in the United States is required. Unit experience must include 12 continuous months.

Knowledge of IV medications required.

Experience required: PIV starts, port access/de-access, NG tubes, chest tube care, foley catheters, wound care, care of the patient with PICC lines, care of the patient with venous access ports.

Notate block schedule requests in body of submittal. Can be accommodated but may not always be guaranteed.

Teaching facility: frequently have nursing students, medical students, interns and residents on the med/surg unit.

All nurses are required to float when needed and perform tasks on unit floated to. Agency and permanent staff go into the same float rotation.
