Time off requests must be kept to a minimum during your assignment and must be approved prior to confirmation.
Please note, holidays off will be limited to 1 of the 3 major and at the discretion of UCONN Health.
Mandatory Emergency Staffing requirements Mandatory Overtime: During Personnel’s assignment with Client, he or she is considered part of the unit and will be included as part of the rotation pool of staff (i.e., Client employees and Personnel) who are required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis to ensure coverage for the unit.
Float: Client may float or reassign Personnel to a different department, unit, or facility (within 30 miles of the Personnel’s originally assigned facility) within the Personnel’s clinical competence.
Education: Master’s preferred.
Graduation from an accredited wound and ostomy nursing education program Wound and Ostomy Certifications from an accredited institution.
