Weekend Requirement 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks

Holidays Required, but negotiable.

For Holiday RTO: Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years). Unit managers will make the final call on scheduling, but we would include this verbiage on the confirmation. Holiday time off will be considered, however not guaranteed

Floating Yes, to like units and per the Sac float policy (to other facilities) - first to float.

Ratios 4:1 tele, 5:1 med/surg

Common diagnosis / Types of patients Stroke, CHF, Pneumonia, COPD, A fib, Alcohol withdrawl

Additional Notes We also have a small COVID19 unit that traveler may need to float to (med/surg/tele level).

***Prior to acceptance, the dysrhythmia exam (basic) through Relias is required to be sent along with acceptance. This must be completed within 24-48 hrs. Please note it’s pass or fail and they get two attempts (test a should be assigned first and if not passed, test b should be assigned for the retake). A screenshot showing the number of attempts is also required.

Modules are required to be done before start of assignment. Modules take on average 3-4 hours.
