Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Connecticut license

Scrub Color Caribbean blue, able to wear black and white shirts under uniform, top layer must be uniform color, pants may be black or Caribbean blue.

Nurses must be able to read and interpret strips.

Floating to tele or IMCU

Common diagnosis / Types of patients CVA TPA, AAA, MI (Cath lab only for diagnostics - No interventions done at this facility), Hypertension, Overdose, ETOH, Detoxing Precedex. Whipples, GI bleed, ECOS, External temporary pacers, A-fib RVR, Septic shock.
