Requirements
Experience
Travel experience is required.
24 months of Emergency Department experience is required.
3 months of experience with Cerner is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license

Additional Details:

Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes with at least 2-years’ ED specific experience, and Level II Trauma or higher experience

Patient Types: General Emergency Department- combined Adult/Pedi Diabetes, HTN, cardiac, Respiratory distress

Skills required: chest tube, art line, central line care/management, trach care, intubation/extubation, conscious sedation, IV therapy, Nasogastric insertion/ management, Foley insertion/management, Splinting, and related ED procedures.

Weekend rotation: Every other or 4 weekend days per month if on block schedule

Holiday Expectations: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy

No RTO will be approved during the following dates: Halloween: 10/30 - 11/3 Thanksgiving: 11/26 - 11/30 Christmas / New Year’s: 12/21 - 1/1 Martin Luther King Jr. Day: 1/19 - 1/20 Valentine's Day: 2/13 - 2/16
