Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience is required from last 4 years.

Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Call 1-2 week nights per week, and 1 weekend a month

Weekend Requirement: 48 hour call on weekend(once per month about) , 8-16 hr call per week
Holidays: work in as needed, mandatory 24 hr call

Scrub Color: Provided
Floating: Will have to float to ambulatory care for cases - they need to have experience with conscious sedation
Floor specific orientation: 2-3 shifts of orientation, depending on skillset
Common types of cases to recover: c-sections (must have exp recovering), anterior repairs, GI, bowel cases, whipples, gyn, general, eyes, etc.
ICU patients - do they recover in PACU: sometimes ICU patients will recover in PACU
Additional Notes: ICU experience is preferred.
