Travelers must have a permanent address outside of the 75 mile straight line radius of intended facility, not driving distance.
Anyone granted a covid vaccine exemption must comply with weekly testing and proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
1 reference must be from current manager.
Shifts: SWING shift position is either 1pm-1am or 3pm-3am; 12 hour shifts. Weekends: varied - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
Traveler must pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.
Certs: BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be completed through American Health and Safety accetable. Basic cardiac arrhythmia experience required.
Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes epic training.
Scrubs: Required and not provided by the facility. White scrub top. Scrub pants in sangria red, plum purple, hunter green or black.
No holiday RTO will be approved for travelers
Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
