Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Psychiatric Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

ACLS (Preferred)

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: Every other weekend

Float Requirements: Yes

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: geri, pedi (5-17), adults. 2 adult units, 24 beds each; 24 beds on geri, 12 pedi.

Must Have Skills/Experience: RN experience

Preferred Skillset/Experience: Behavioral health

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, anxiety

Personality Fit: Must be willing to work with both adult and pediatric care

Scrub Color: Blue

Graduated from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
