Experience
24 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license

Weekend Requirements: Every other

Holiday Requirements: Every other

Floating Requirements: All areas as helping hands, To MS Tele for PCU patients, and MS for full patient assignment, some ER Holds/ boarding - first to float

Beds 15

Nurse Patient Ratios ICU: 1:1:2, PCU 1:3

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: varies- adults and geriatrics. CABG, carotids, VATs, anything cardiovascular, STEMIs, sepsis and pressors, Covid, pneumonia, general surgical- sepsis, traumas, ventrics, cranis, bolts, DKA, OD, ETOH withdrawal, IABP, Impella, Prisma flex, ventilators, arctic sun, ECMO

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Prefer experience with IABP, Impella, Prisma flex, ventilators, arctic sun, must be willing open to PCU assignments/ratios

Are RNs required to titrate drips? yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips critical care drips, Vasopressors, heparin, Lasix, antiarrhythmics

Additional Notes: ICU PCU combined, ICU RN to take PCU patients frequently

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
