Every other weekend

50% of holidays on contract is required.

RTO must be included at time of submittal or will not be approved - No exceptions

Return Travelers: If a traveler takes a break after an assignment and returns within 18 months, re- orientation is not required.

Floating is required and mandatory for all units. All travelers will be expected to float to any area at UMHS as a Patient Observer (PTOB) – “Sitter.”

The adult overflow unit is a 10-bed unit that services al I UH admitting physician teams. examples: Neurology, internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Cardiology, Orthopedics and Oncology.

Diagnoses range from diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal disease, orthopedic fractures, and neurological deficits.

This unit will occupy adult 16 and older medical surgical patients to assist with hospital throughput.

General floor care procedures and skills such as IV therapy, labs, nasogastric tubes, wound care assisting physicians with bedside procedures and conscious sedation.
