All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
1st time traveler ok but must have acute care experience.
The schedule is Sun – Wed and will need someone with strong acute care skills to work with medically complex neuro patients.
All candidates who were a previous perm employee of ANY Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a min of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. No exceptions.
Floating: All travelers are expected to float to another unit within their scop of practice if needed. The facility has a designated float team that floats first however, in the event there is a need at another campus travelers will float first before perm staff. All facilities are within a 40-mile radius or less. In the event that the traveler needs to float, it their responsibility to find transportation to the facility they’re floated to. Traveler’s refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
BLS Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.
