Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license

Additional Details:

Cannot have any previous hits on licensure. Cannot have any of the following background hits: Domestic disputes or domestic violence (at any time), theft (within 5 years), DUIs (within 5 years), drug charges including marijuana (at any time), felony (at any time).

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.

• Weekend Hours: 24 rotating every third.

• Call Requirements: none.

• Float Requirements: float between inpatient medical detox and inpatient medical psych units.

• Required Certifications: NVCI.

• Must Have Skills/Experience: 1 year of medical surgical / inpatient behavioral health experience.

• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Inpatient behavioral health and med surg experience.

• Type of Patients on Unit: Psychiatric patients with med-surg needs (IV therapy, oxygen, wounds, etc.).

• Scrub Color: Galaxy blue top, black pants or galaxy blue pants, black jacket.
