Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

12 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

NRP (Required)

Additional Details:

No Block Scheduling requests Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

There is no shift differential for AM/PM.

Patient Ratios – level 3: 1-3 per nurse depending on acuity, level 2: 3-4 per nurse

Type of equipment – isolettes, OMNI beds, phototherapy, computers

EMR –meditech and CPN

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. -Experience with central lines UAC, UVC, broviacs, PICC, etc

Floating Area(s): -Newborn nursery.

Dress Code: -Scrub Color/Attire - royal blue scrubs.

Weekends and On call(if any) -4 weekend shifts per schedule minimum, on call occasionally.
