Requirements

Experience

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

24 months of Oncology Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

Float Requirements: Will float as needed to other areas and care for patients within scope, can float in 4 hour blocks and will float before staff RNs

1 year on MSO unit preferred. Oncology experience required.

If no Epic experience, must have previous electronic charting experience.

Unit Specific Skillset: Med/Surg Oncology unit.

Patient population mainly consists of surgical oncology and medical oncology patients. Very small population coming in to receive chemo treatments.

Patient Ratio: Nights is normally 1/5 but can get up to 1/7 - not common

Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.

Required Education: Associate Degree or Certificate; BSN preferred
