Experience

24 months of Endoscopy experience is required.

Experience with Epic is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Monument Health blackout dates for RTO are 8/1/24 - 8/18/24. Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will NOT be considered.

40 Guaranteed hours

RN: 2 years – Level 1 or 2 trauma experience

Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler

Patient Types: Upper & Lower Endoscopy (to include advanced – EUS (Endoscopic US), EBUS (Endobronchial US), ERCP EGD and Colon Pre and Post Recovery (Phase I and Phase II) with some ICU level care needed.

RN: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing

Skills required: RN: Endoscopy (to include advanced – EUS (Endoscopic US), EBUS (Endobronchial US), ERCP Anesthesia provides sedation

Scheduling: Weekend rotation – every 3rd weekend Will they be on call? Yes – one overnight per week 7p-7a and every 3rd weekend. Sleep room will be in Pre-Op/PACU area as it will be closed Couches in break room 15 min response time

Floating: If yes, where? As needed (PreOp/PACU/Floor) – if floated out of peri-op services, will be as helping hands Will not be floated to Main OR as Primary RN
