Travel Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Unit

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Shift Notes: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule

Holiday Requirement Rotate in with the perm staff

Is there a call or standby requirement? No call required

Floating Requirements Would float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and CRMC/MGMC Eds as needed. Scrub Color/Dress Code Navy

First to float - could float to sister facility Mercy Gilbert

Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: ED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS/Tele

Must have a strong cardiac tele background, preferably 2 years.

Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters.

Nurses will be caring for more tele patients vs medical. (MS/Tele travlers do not need prior travel experience)

Will be caring for patients from the ER who are waiting on a bed in the hospital.

May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts and medicaton administration. Will not be asked to be primary RN for ED patient assignment.
