Guaranteed Hours 40

Shift: 7:30a-4p or 8a-4:30p

Weeknight/Call Requirements: call every third week from Monday to Sunday 1600-0630 for that entire week, weekend also looped into call rotation

Weekend/Call Requirements: same weekend as week night call, for a total of 24 hours of weekend call

Holiday/Call Requirements: no holiday requirements

What is call response time? 30 minutes

Floating Requirements: Only to CT for biopsies- not in the same area, across the hall

Common diagnoses/Types of patients:

  • Cases done in Suite: nephro, urinary work, fistulagrams, hemoembolization's, CT and US guided biopsies: bone marrow, thyroids, etc., thrombectomies, some PEs, and occasional DVT.
  • Cases done in room: less complex, para or thoracentesis, port exchanges, picc, lines, etc.
  • More Complex Vascular (.done in shared cath lab space): peripheral vascular disease work- DVTs, PE, penumbra for thrombectomies
