Experience

24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required.

Experience with Cerner is required.

References

Additional Details:

No On call

Provides high quality care to the following patient populations: Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry. Positions available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit.

Floating is a requirement in ACU is always required for any non-critical care inpatient units including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients. If the traveler has critical care experience, we have occasionally floated them to CCU.

ACU required every other weekend rotation.

Traveler will be responsible for self-studying Telemetry strips upon acceptance and a Basic Dysrhythmia test out will be given first week of assignment. This must be passed in order to work on our Telemetry/Med Surg unit.Telemetry
