Travel Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)

First time traveler needs 2 years minimum general GI experience

Is on-call required? Yes May need to fill in for open call shifts if appropriate

Are weekends required? Yes May need to fill in for open call shifts if appropriate

Are block schedules required? No

Special requirements: Generally GI EGD/Colonoscopy, preferably Interventional GI experience and pulmonary (EUS,ERCP, Stents, bronch, ebus, rebus) ; Conscious sedation experience and anesthesia experience

Scrub Color: All RN: any color

RTO must be listed at time of submittal, post submission RTO will NOT be approved.

Return Providence Staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler

BLS must be Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart & Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.

Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
