Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

12 months of Operating Room experience is required.

3 months of experience with Meditech is required.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Call Requirements: Yes

Weekends: possibly, based on need

Must have general surgery, orthopedic and neuro surgery experience

If candidate is for CVOR they MUST have at least two years of CVOR experience, to include: ALL ADULT open heart cases, OPEN and ENDOVASCULAR cases. This includes open and endovascular Triple A surgery, and must be willing to work with the Cath lab on cases such as TAVR (trans aortic valve replacement).

Trauma experience, Vascular surgery exp and Cases such as fistula creations, and endarterectomy surgery preferred.
